It's been hard to think of what to say. I've had a lot of time to myself to really think about things, and now that I have a chance to express them, words hardly seem enough.

I've left my Ministry job, and I'm sure that's not all that surprising. Final straw, as it were. I'm sure I'll need to find a new job soon, but right now, I just want some time to recooperate and get things back to normal. Start a new life, with my family.

Not only that, but she loves me back.

I'm terribly happy. Not even Winters can ruin my moment. Where is the blighter anyway? I'm more then just happy, I'm ecstatic.

I just want to state for the record that Kingsley's new look is brilliant.

Also, whoever left that stack of crap papers to be filed. The joke wasn't funny.

I just don't get it. You know how there are days when things are going so right, you're just waiting for the other shoe to drop? ... and then it does, along with about fifty of its friends?

I need Kati a drink. Lots of them. I really just need to go out and get squiffy. Maybe then I can erase that mental image of Winters' smug smile.
